Week 7

Phew! I'm happy to report that I worked HARD this week! I did pretty well w/my meals and really kicked up my workouts. I'm continuing to lift more and more weights, so I know I'm at least getting stronger, right? And 1 week ago I was adding some running on the treadmill after my 20-minute "HIIT" sessions on T/Th/Sat. I was running for 15 minutes last week. This past Thursday I ran for 20 minutes, and this morning I was able to go 25 minutes. It felt great! I also added a Power Pump class on Friday (a toning class using dumbbells, body bars, yoga blocks and a step). I use to do this class years ago and it usually kicked my butt. I've been afraid to give it a try again, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that this time *I* kicked butt! It was awesome! I also loved all the core body moves we did. I really need those. Today I'm sore in some bizarre places and it's great.
But onto today's measurements. I'm not quite as thrilled w/them since I did work so hard, but I'l take them. I'm at the same weight I was 2 weeks ago (although I'm hoping there are some "female hormonal" issues contributing to that number) and I'm down 3.5" from last week overall.
