I've been sick off and on for the past 2 weeks...blech. But today, today I finally feel alive!
I'm driving home from Costco, it's 84 degrees outside, I can still see snow on the mountains in the distance, I've got the sunroof open and AC/DC comes on the radio.
These are the days that make the cost of living out here all worth it.

when i picked jordan up from school today she said, "man i need to get my shorts out, its kind of hot today."
once we got home and she had changed she asked to go and "see if the pool was warm enough to swim in" i said "hey knock yourself out." we don't heat our pool so there was a shrill as she sunk her feet in.

84? We hit 39 yesterday and I broke out my flip flops.

I'm so sorry you've been sick--I can totally empathize. What I CANNOT even imagine is 84 degree weather. I was at Sam's Club today, but quite the opposite climate. Wet, slushy snow, and huge puddles were in the forecast, along with freezing temperatures. Yes, you're right. I think I would have traded our lower cost of living today, for your lovely weather!
