We're not in Kansas anymore

Most of you have probably heard about the mile-wide tornado that swept through Northern Colorado Thursday. It was a mere 15 minutes from my parents home. My dad happened to be at a golf tournament 50 YARDS from the tornado. They're all ok, as is their home, but the destruction is pretty bad. I was able to talk to my dad a couple times last night while he took a quick break from helping with the many needs of the victims. (he's a police officer) Growing up in Greeley, Colorado meant many tornado warnings and time spent in the basement. My heart goes out to those that lost so much. But given the size of this tornado, it's amazing that it only took the life of 1 man.

Wow, that is a big one! Scary! We had 3 just down the freeway from us. Hello!?! This is So. Cal.!! My kids enjoyed the hail we had though, while it lasted.
